Sorry, camp has been canceled for 2020. Please check back next year.

We hope you all have been safe and healthy during these unprecedented times. We have been facing new challenges and creating new norms we couldn’t have possibly imagined a year ago. We want you to know the health and safety of your children and your families are number one, which is why we have decided to cancel Vasa Youth Day Camp this year, Summer 2020.

While there are discussions about reopening business, there will still be a need to maintain a safe social distance. As you can imagine, this would be extremely difficult to maintain with a large group of children during the summer. This leads us to err on the side of caution to respect the health and safety of you all. We hope you can understand our difficult decision and thank you all for your continued support.

We hope to see you all next year!

Wishing you all the best,

Ginger Grette and Rory Newcomb

When
Camp is canceled for 2020

About
Vasa Youth Day Camp is open to all children, ages 6-12, but we must limit to 50 campers. In the morning, campers rotate through four 40 minute stations of organized activities in crafts, drama, Scandinavian dance, and Swedish language. Afternoons are devoted to counselor led games and supervised swimming. Certified lifeguards are on duty every day. Campers are placed by age/grade level in groups with at least two counselors rotating with the group. Our teen counselors are all former campers. Camper families volunteer to provide a morning and afternoon snack but each child brings their own lunch.
Where
Camp is held at the beautiful Vasa Park Resort on the shores of Lake Sammamish.
The address is:
3560 West Lake Sammamish Parkway SE, Bellevue, WA 98008
